But as I am bored, on my grandparent's Compaq computer with nothing really to do, and since Davidjcobb said everyone from the CW forums, well, here I go.
Or, I could forget I had his journal entry in my clipboard and then copy this journal entry out into notepad, and then get offline, so as to not be able to actually complete the journal entry right away. I'm dumb.
So, why not write about regular garbage of life while I wait for the capacity to complete the original goal?
I'll start off why I'm at my grandparents: My parents have seperated, and I left with my mom to my grandparents house for a bit of peace, carrying nothing with us but bare bones type stuff, my mom took some clothes, and some vegetables from our garden, I took 2 pairs of clothes and uhh, my computer tower (haha).
That was yesterday, and today, things are already not looking up.
Did you know Office Depot has forms for uncontested divorce? I thought they just had a hundred different kinds of post-it notes and pens piled floor to cieling.
This Compaq computer sucks, too, the browser is messed up so that sometimes when regular ads and stuff try to load, it takes you to a [ad url] cannot be found page, logging in is a pain, history can't be cleared perfectly (I do that alot due to the sensitive nature of some... things), the graphics seem messed up with skewed and dirty pixels, off color, blurry, all sorts of stuff. There are speakers but they are always off, and you'd need a 3 foot long arm just about to turn them on.
Yesterday I helped my Grandpa weld some useful bits of metal off the back end of a really old truck, probably from the '40s or so, I was the firewatcher, basically, a kid with a hose while my grandpa cut off the stuff. 'Cause you see, we were welding over grass and molten metal and grey grass from August/September don't go together well. I also helped by using a hammer and prybar to sort of knock the metal loose from the slag, and also to cool down the surface metal after the welding, the piece removed excluded, because if I cooled it down too fast it would temper it and make it hard or impossible for my grandpa to cut. It was awesome.
Ah, dang, this post is like way too long and tacking a chain post to the end would seem kind of dumb, so I'll skip it. Not like I wanted to do it anyway.
